David is an accomplished commercial photographer. David's concise yet expressive style has been used in all forms of media by a diverse range of clients. David's energetic approach to developing a client's idea and making it come to life visually through photography has been his strength as he works with the varied needs of art directors, graphic designers and corporate marketing directors.
David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art in Photography from the University of Florida. He uses his artistic talent to create photography that can capture the true essence of an image and use it to communicate effectively. His creativity and talent are evident in all of his commercial projects, no matter how simple the focus of the shoot. He has an innate ability to use lighting, color and contrast to make even the simplest product catch the eye and draw in the viewer.
David Smith Studio is a 4000 sq ft warehouse loft located in the Historic Inman Park neighborhood of Atlanta. The studio has a cyc wall, full kitchen, two full baths, dressing room, client lounge areas, ample shooting space and a workshop for constructing sets. The studio is less than half an hour from Hartsfield International airport and surrounded by shops, galleries and restaurants.
